Sainsburys are selling my debt

Well, at least they sent me a letter to say they were going to sell it to a debt collection agency.

Anybody had a similar experience? It's a large debt, the biggest I've got.

happens all the time. You will probably find the debt collection co easier to negotiate with. DO NOT TELEPHONE them on any account deal with everything in writing. Make sure before agreeing any payments you ask for the statutory CCA info costing £1. may well be the case they can't prove the debt.

  • It may be a blessing. As davek has said DCA's are generally much easier to deal with and more open to negotiations.

Wonder what kind of discount the DCA got on the loan.
