Hi guys
Im hoping someone can help me to write a letter
I spent months trying to find a job but because i have not worked for 9 years (as we decided i would stay at home untill the kids were older and my husband worked) i found this very hard so i decided to print lots of cv's off and send them out to companys and after a few days i started reciving calls to go for interviews and was then offered 2 jobs in 1 day which is fab , i chose the job and have ben working there for a couple of weeks and am happy were i am.
But i still keep getting calls to go for more interviews but i have been telling them that i am now employed so am unable to attend, then yesterday i recived another call form a well known cinemas asking me if i was interested in going for an interview for a part time superviser post , we are about to move and this cinema is a 2 min walk to where we are moving to but i said no and straight after the call i started to regret this as it would be perfect for me , i called them back and spoke to the manager and explained what i had done and he said he would get the P R manager to call me back , she called me back this morning and explained that they only have so many interview slots and they had now offered my slot to some1else . I am gutted and am now hoping a letter of plea may help me to be able to get an interview .
I want to say something along the lines that i am a very relyable and commited person and didnt want to let my current employer down which is why i turned down the oppertunity but then realised it was such a great oppertunity i was mad not to give it a go.
Many thanks in advance
Clare

Dear (potential employer)
I refer to our conversation of (date) regarding the post of (job title). I understand that you only have a limited number of interview slots but was nevertheless disappointed to learn I could not be interviewed for the position.
My original reason for turning down the interview was my loyalty to my existing employer. However I recognise that this is a greater opportunity and would ask that you consider me either for this position or for others which might arise. I consider myself reliable and committed, and look forward to hearing from you.
Yours etc.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world
