The good old days, when you got 2 deliveries a day and the second one was just after lunch. Now I'm lucky if we get the only delivery before 4pm.

My postie is a miserable old s*d. The other week as I was locking the front door I said "morning anything for us" He wouldn't give me the post but insisted on putting through the letterbox (the letterbox in the door I was locking) .
He walked away muttering "You'll have to unlock that now won't you"

I can understand that maybe they're only allowed to give people post if they're standing in the house (to stop random strangers outside your house nicking your post) but that comment was a bit much (made me smile though - bet it didn't make you smile). He does sound like a miserable s*d.

I've spent hours slaving over a hot stove to cook this, you ungrateful thing.
Couldn't do as cake as I have no eggs.
Won't do any more cooking

Best place is inside snuggled up by the computer - DH made me promise I'd go back to bed after dropping the kids at school (I's full of germies), then I came on here 'just to do the dailies', and I'm still here!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It's just that my boyf has dumped me and dumplings don't tend to mend a broken heart... unlike choc cake!!
