Help to write a letter please

Hi guys
Im hoping someone can help me to write a letter
I spent months trying to find a job but because i have not worked for 9 years (as we decided i would stay at home untill the kids were older and my husband worked) i found this very hard so i decided to print lots of cv's off and send them out to companys and after a few days i started reciving calls to go for interviews and was then offered 2 jobs in 1 day which is fab , i chose the job and have ben working there for a couple of weeks and am happy were i am.
But i still keep getting calls to go for more interviews but i have been telling them that i am now employed so am unable to attend, then yesterday i recived another call form a well known cinemas asking me if i was interested in going for an interview for a part time superviser post , we are about to move and this cinema is a 2 min walk to where we are moving to but i said no and straight after the call i started to regret this as it would be perfect for me , i called them back and spoke to the manager and explained what i had done and he said he would get the P R manager to call me back , she called me back this morning and explained that they only have so many interview slots and they had now offered my slot to some1else . I am gutted and am now hoping a letter of plea may help me to be able to get an interview .
I want to say something along the lines that i am a very relyable and commited person and didnt want to let my current employer down which is why i turned down the oppertunity but then realised it was such a great oppertunity i was mad not to give it a go.
Many thanks in advance
Clare

I don't hold out much hope TBH. How are you going to be able to show reliability and commitment when you've just changed your mind about whether to take an interview or not and you're thinking of changing job just 2 weeks after starting?

You've just started a job which you've said you like. Stick with that for now and you can use the time you spent there as proof of your abilities/traits when you apply for something else in the future.

    Hello clare

I hope you take this as constructive advice. If or when you write a letter to a prospective employer, please use a dictionary or spell checker on the computer. Your post includes many errors which I'm sure you wouldn't want a future employer to read.;)

I agree with Conor that you would be wise to stay at your current job for a while. If you still feel like a change in 12 months (or longer) time, you could contact the cinema to make a tentative enquiry about job vacancies.
