Loan expired?

Good afternoon, My standing order for my personal loan was not taken out of my current account in December-as agreed. I have nearly 2 more years repayments on this 5 year loan and with approx 10K outstanding- according to my banking app. I telephoned customer service this morning and explained as to why this has happened…

Check your banking app and decide if it's a SO or a DD first. Big difference, one pushes, the other is pulled, so one is your problem if it doesn't work (the pusher ! ) the other the pullers.

Most likely if it's a SO, as said earlier, when you set it up you put an expiry date on the SO.

If it's a DD something strange going on and I wonder if you misunderstood what the CS person said since loans don't "expire.
