HL SIPP fees.

I have just opened a HL SIPP with the first regular contribution due to be made on the 7th (9th). When setting up the account I chose an amount to be contributed monthly and chose to invest this whole amount each month in a fund. I understand that fees are worked out at the end of each month. How should I pay these fees?…

Maybe try the trick of buying £100 then selling £90 to get to where you want to be. For some funds there will be a small loss of money each time you do this due to a difference between buy and sell prices but most no longer have a significant difference.
