Trump will bring about a new era of prosperity

he seems to remind me of thatcher, in some ways I like his guts e.g. in making thew american car companies keep their manufacturing in the country.
However I am seeing the end result will be the wealthy will do well out of it, which in turn will be seen as a success but the poor will be worse off.
Sort of like the UK in the 80s where the south east thrived but the rest of the country became a wasteland.0 -
But he's done absolutely nothing to help the disenfranchised. There are no new jobs, no improved economy, nothing behind the "Make America Great Again! (Made in China)" campaign.
...
Exactly what are you expecting?
Do you know just how many trillions of dollars of Western capital have gone into building up the Chinese economy?
It should be no surprise that wherever capital flows, jobs also flow.
The first step to American regeneration is energy security. Well, with fracking et al the USA is now able to export energy.
But the rest is going to take a long time. Obama did nothing to bring jobs back either.0 -

They haven't though. Ford aborted a $2 billion project in Mexico to rounds of applause. Only to announce later on that manufacturing is moving to China instead.0 -

The Chinese built up the Chinese economy,
People in the west have the silly idea that us buying 50 cent plastic ducks turned them into a global giant when in fact it was domestic investment and consumption.0 -
Trump alone against his own party, the legacy media and Establishment tapped into the fact working class people had had enough and were banging on the pipes demanding more hot water.
He alone set out to champion them and return the American Dream, that's the whole point.
All this tittle tattle stuff is of little interest just as they weren't that bothered by his language and Human frailties during the election campaign.
As long as he restores real hope with jobs and prosperity he will have suceeded in a way the out of touch political elites failed miserably.
Obama promised change was comming to America and then delivered utter misery to the working class. Who cares if you have healthcare when you have no job and dignity left?
Obama delivered terrifying national debt, vast unemployment, vast welfare dependancy, massive immigration, relentless offshoring and declining real incomes for the lower and working class. Even many middle class felt dreadfuly let down and so switched from Obama to Trump.
Obama handed 20% of US Uranium over to Russia with the Clintons taking back handers. They gave Iran, the worlds terror sponsor, billions.Clintons campaign was massively funded by Iran and Saudi.
All of us should observe lessons from the past. At every stage the smug protected punditry told us Trump could never win the nomination let alone the Presidency. Time and again smug presenters such as Rachel Maddow on NSNBC told us "even if Trump won all the toss up states, he would still lose, he has no way of winning"
Let's be a little humble and see if he delivers prosperity to the masses, my guess is he will
The american 'masses' were already prosperous before he got in0 -

China will become a 50 million a year auto sales country. All of its current capacity + lots more car factories will be needed for just Chinese demand.
Its amazing how fast that country has/is developing.
2016 new vehicle sales = 28 million
2000 new vehicle sales = 2 million
Its great news that so many hundreds of millions of Chinese now have much better lives.
However somewhat disappointingly they seem to have a successful economy without having transitioned to a democracy0 -

I'd have expected, at the very least, for a campaign based on bringing manufacturing into the US, to actually be manufactured in the US. That's not too big an ask surely?
I mean, if he can't bring production of his own merchandise into the US, how is he going to get others to do so?0 -

Trump conquered all in spite of being up against the Democrat Establishment, the Republican Establishment, The legacy media Establishment and the global elite Establishment.
He won at a time America had lowest participation rate since the 70’s
They wanted good jobs and incomes back.
I suspect the masses that switched from Obama to Trump knew more about their economic lives than you do
Clinton had huge campaigning advantage with a budget far higher than Trumps, she had a fantastically well staffed and organised ground campaign and in spite of all her advantages and the almost the entire media on her side, she still lost. Because smug liberals dismissed working class lived reality. Same with Brexit.0
