ASDA has a strange idea of "essentials".

Don't assume that all of these items are great bargains just because they have been placed in this promotion. Looking at some of the items I sometimes purchase...

Baked beans and tinned tomatoes are commonly 50p per tin in multipacks.

The 500ml of Carex from ASDA as part of "Buy 2 for £3" offer is cheaper per ml than the reduced price 250ml. 250ml is currently 70p from Waitrose which is cheaper still per ml.

Some other items are equalled or bettered at other supermarkets.

Shreddies and soups are cheap.
