Meanwhile, in a development little noticed by the usual crash trolls, the Telegraph publishes another article completely debunking the one linked in the OP

You will recognise her by the word "HYPOCRITE" branded on her forehead in 3 inch letters. She earned such branding by writing articles predicting a house price crash around 2010 (IIRC) at the same time as purchasing a large house in the SE that has no doubt increased in value by a significant amount.
Actually she is at it again, she has just been in the FT:

saying that she thinks that London prices will crash and explaining that she has just bought a London studio flat despite her belief, because she needed to buy it, due to commuting from Edinburgh (her Edinburgh house I believe is the house purchase that you are referring to).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

i have no idea why people take moneyweek and people like her so seriously. it seems this level of incompetence (even arrogance?) is widespread in the media, banks, government literally everywhere. no one has got it right consistently with market forecasts, and so all of it should just be treated as either garbage or entertainment.0 -

Chuck is so lucky to have a friend like you. Not only do you worry about his millions you also like to make sure he's getting enough sleep.0 -

The number of people believing that London property is over valued is growing:
Me
Merryn Somerset Webb
Crashy
Foxy
Pizza laddie (there might be some duplication in this list)
Geneer
I must try and do something about the company that I am keeping.
Now that I have started selling, I have realised just how good investment property is (even more than I originally thought)! Because to match the rental income, I would not only have to invest in higher yielding, more risky (less diverse) funds/etf's like the ftse 100, but also they would have to perform quite well. That still doesn't change my decision to sell though, because I am at the right stage of my life to sell, and that is what my decision ultimately is based upon, rather than a Crashy style obsession with house prices.
EDIT: I won't of course invest all the equity in higher risk funds/etf's, I will seek diversity, and settle for less income.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Well clearly you don't need to buy somewhere to work in London.0
