Argos sale item bumped up after reservation

Do I have a leg to stand on if I complain about an LG TV I reserved AFTER midnight so technically yesterday morning. I was paying cash so couldn't pay online. Went to collect afternoon 12pm ish and price has gone back up. Pretty ridiculous to even change price until end of this week really.

Any help appreciated

Nope, nothing you can do about it, you reserved it you didn't pay for it, The terms state you pay the price in store when you go to get it. Would you have been happy to pay the orginal price had it gone the other way

You only reserved the item not the price as said. Should have paid and then collected following day

Thought so but was going to check. I was gifted cash and been researching what to buy etc so couldn't pay by card as I already mentioned.

Could you not have paid by card and then put the money on that card?

When I reserve something I screenshot it when I reserve it, normally manage to get it at the price I have reserved it at, even if it has gone up when I collect it.

I reserved an item at reduced price,went to collect it and the price had changed but it was honoured because i had email.

You were lucky

They do state you will pay the price in store at the time of collection.

I do not have that much in my account so no payment would have declined. Cash was gifted to me. Was reserved after midnight so no way of paying in money.

It's no good just with text, that does not mention the price. You need evidence of the price which a screenshot is.
