Does anyone know what happens if a company tries to take money from a pre-paid mastercard that has no money on it?

I've heard of people getting hefty invoices and court order threats because they hadn't cancelled stuff or ignored any small print (which can be invisible at times)

Depends on the agreement and how legitimate it was, potentially "failed payment" charges on top of the amount originally due, late/non payment reporting to credit reference agencies, threatening letters, visits from debt collectors (not bailiffs at that point) and ultimately court action - If it was a dodgy agreement then maybe threatening letters for a while or just nothing.

Got DQ'd on desktop too - probably one of those surveys you only qualify if you are 93 years old, were born on a Tuesday at five past two in the afternoon in a leap year and you have no more than 3 crocodiles as pets.
