It sounds like you know as much as I do.
My advice is always be honest with surveys. The people who set them have mostly a genuine interest in your opinions and they cross check your answers. If you aren't consistent, you'll find they won't credit and may get banned.
But the offer walls are a disgrace. You can assume they are out to scam, spam and infect your computer with viruses. Few of them pay out. So be very wary of giving any personal information.
So videos like EngageMe are the best things then I think.
There are some other ok offers among the scum. Apps on Play Store are controlled by google. So Ive never had a problem with any of them, apart from getting them to credit.
And reputable companies like Audible (its an Amazon company) tend to pay out.
But theres a lot to be said for just doing EngageMe!
If you like EngageMe.tv., maybe you know theres an app. Ive just started playing with it. Useful maybe if you have a spare phone. Unfortunately, it links earnings to various sites, but not Swagbucks.
Works with Instagc though, so I'll post there about it here if it proves worthwhile:

Devil's advocate but I had a nightmare about getting Audible to credit. The offer was on a banner on my front page and it said "500sb if you sign up for a free trial".
Turns out the banner wasn't accurate and they expected you to pay for a month after your trial was up. I went back and forth with a Swagbucks rep for a while before I got it to credit. They were insisting that the offer required you to pay but I'd taken screenshots of the pages I'd been redirected through and none of them mentioned paying. SB does seem like an uphill battle for pennies sometimes.
Edit: The 51SB TV survey seems to have vanished from my offer wall. Tripping is back on Adscend Media for 5SB if anyone needs an easy discover to complete their to do list.0 -
The last few days were like pulling teeth with EngagmeTV (typo quite appropriate
) . No ads in the evenings and now it keeps resetting itself back to 1 of 6. Annoying.

Absolutely, I do ok on SB in general but Discover is too risky and very frustrating so most of the time I avoid it.
The surveys seem to be going through a bad patch at the moment, lots of screen outs after completion and so many 10 minutes that redirect to 20-30 :mad:Saving a house deposit. Member no.7 100% of target

Surveys have been terrible for me. Screen outs and getting stuck in survey black holes where they kick you across to another survey rather than giving you the 1SB. Nothing more irritating than giving them the info they need then getting told you didn't qualify.0 -

It never credits for me if I go through the swagbucks app.0 -

How long did this take to credit? I've done it, but got no email and no points added. It just takes me to a page asking me to sign up.
I did 3 different offers on toro yesterday to try and end the app drudgery, but nothing has credited. And worse, there is no way to get help from them!!!! Cannot work out why only periodic offers say to click here if it hasn't credited.Minimalist
