Does anyone have experience of ordering two Paypals at once?

I have one pending, but I have enough SB now for another due to a couple of double survey wins on Spin and Win. I was wondering if there might be issues with ordering one before the first has come through.

I've done this occasionally and never had a problem. Although it's rare for me to earn enough to cash out quickly in succession.

Has anyone claimed an Argos GC recently? If so, did you access the GC code as usual without problems?

I am still having issues accessing Argos code and getting no reply from SBs. When I go to SBs via the email and log in, then click to view, it immediately goes to an external website (Virtual Rewards)and asks me to 'activate' and says reward will be available in 24 hours. Nothing turns up. I've clicked to get a fresh email, but the same thing still happens.

  • So I got a scam letter in the mail this morning from an Australian Lottery company. Very professional looking for a scam all professionally printed, telling me I've got the opportunity to win a lot of money.

It's addressed directly to me and the return address is in Samoa. There's a handy form on it asking for my bank details.

The only place I've given any information to is through Swagbucks. Admittedly I gave more info out at the start of using it but quickly stopped once I realised the amount of dodgy deals on there. This is a well known scam according to other accounts on the internet and somehow my name and address has been sold on to this 'company'.

I think they're just banking on me actually giving them my bank details so hopefully they wont do anything else with my address but it's scary.

I know you have to be careful on Swagbucks, but considering they're operating as a legitimate company you'd think they'd be interested in ensuring that the deals they partner with are above board. It reflects badly on them that there's a real risk of getting computer viruses, being ripped off and having your identity stolen if you put the wrong info in the wrong box.

I guess I'm just reminding people to be careful. I'll be putting in a ticket because I know unequivocally that this has happened through Swagbucks. The only other site I use is Prolific and they don't have my address. I've seen a real uptick in email spam since using them, which I can deal with, but this has rattled me a bit.

Among other things Swagbucks discover has links to various competitions - most are on sites recognised on the MSE comping forum as "spam" producers.

Also although they are not necessarily outright "scams" they push the limits when it comes to the number prizes on offer - what appear to be many different competitions with different prizes are just entry routes to one prize pot and only one of maybe 20 different prizes will actually be won.
My favourite is one that hides in the T&C's that the winner only gets a 1 in 100 chance to actually win the main prize
At 12 noon the winner may then select one envelope from a choice of 100 and will win that envelope’s contents ie. One envelope will contain the message ‘AU$250,000 (or local currency equivalent) for the Promoter to provide the winner’s Major Prize Choice (See Terms & Conditions for full details)’, and ninety nine envelopes will contain the message ‘AU$10,000’ (or local currency equivalent) in the form of a Bank Transfer paid to the Winner’s bank account.

To be fair, there are plenty of legitimate companies/organisations that can sell your information on - are you on the edited electoral roll, for instance? The government like to cash in on the deets you have to give them (not wishing to sound like a tin hat-wearing type).

Nice and early, I am happy with my 783 as I rarely get the second target.

23 for me :rotfl: But then I rarely use SwagBucks for much other than the daily 10 SB from Swagjump and a search win or two.
Speaking of which, I got 100 SB from a search earlier which is by far my biggest search win!
