I'm having some problems with paypal at the moment, can the Mastercard gift cards be used to deposit in to your bank or are they just gift cards in the same way the Amazon gift cards are?

Although the paypal cards are worse value per-SB, I like the convenience of being able to exchange them for cash, whereas Amazon is just, amazon.

For years I used Paypal (only for low value transactions) then for no apparent reason they suddenly wanted more proof of id than my bank had needed, fortunately there was almost nothing in the account so gave up trying to reason with them and just don't use it now.

I don't think you can deposit with the Mastercards to a bank account as no one has mentioned it but they can be used towards BT/Virgin bills and presumably others which effectively turns it into cash.

Amazon is just, amazon

They have moved up to 3rd now, that's worth a 20 sb swagup if they hold on to it.

Right, thanks for the reply. Having the exact same problem with paypal at the moment. I've given them ID but they need more apparently, I wouldn't mind but I've had the account for years and years - I fully expect them to ask for a blood sample next!

2nd one I've done without receiving the sb, do you have to share on fb to get it?

I didn't share on fb. Just kept clicking until it told me to go to New York and it credited straight away after that.
