Also I went to redeem an amazon voucher and the page says my IP is blocked! great....I have sent them email hopefully they will unblock it otherwise there's not point in doing swagbucks anymore!

I had that happen a couple of weeks ago. I think the 'sale' on the £5 gift cards means that we are tripping the threshold of usual nuber of redemptions from an individual IP address. They released the block when I contacted them and fingers crossed, its been okay since.

I have an older smartphone so I can't install the app and different surveys show up on web and mobile, so it's never guaranteed they'll be there when I login on mobile. Also taking a 20 minute survey on a phone is torturous. Most of these surveys just aren't meant for such small screens.
Have you considered getting an android tablet which has a bigger screen and should handle the SB apps?

I use a smartphone myself and do not have a tablet, but maybe someone who does have an android tablet can confirm whether the SB apps can be installed and work on, for example, the Amazon Fire, which normally costs £50 but the price sometimes drops to £35.

Has anyone signed up for Jackpot Joy 1000SB? How long does it take to credit? It says 7 days but wondering if I can sneak it in before the giftcards go back up.

No experience of this but I'll give a couple of observations and thoughts gleaned from searches as no-one has replied yet and I'd also wanted to do this!
Fire's don't natively support Google Play, the source of official swagbucks apps for Android.
Hacking:eek: the tablet to reach Google Play is apparently do-able but voids the Amazon warranty.
It seems that older versions of Swag apps can be 'side-loaded' using apk's (software) that come from sources other than Google. Apart from the certain amount of technical ability required or willingness to try and fail, it would appear that getting software from sources other than Google or Amazon is an excellent way of installing a virus! May also void the warranty. Might offend Swagbucks.

So probably not really a straightforward option :(

If you scroll through popular ways to earn on the home page (its quite a way back so keep moving across) there is one called Tips and trends for 1SB where it shows various videos etc, you have to press the continue button every time the timer runs down but it ticks off the discover. (on the last couple of screens it says deal unavailable but just keep clicking continue when it lights up green and it will still work)

When you are on the Discover main page, on the left just under "Discover Home" is "All Offers" select that then change the sort on the right hand side from "most popular" to "SB Min-Max" and the offer above will be the first one.

I only mentioned the Amazon Fire as that is widely regarded as a very good value tablet. I was aware that the Fire does not support Google Play but various websites describe ways to install Google Play without having to root the tablet. However as you quite rightly point out, this is not straightforward and may not work, and above all is risky for the reasons you state.

Maybe other tablets with standard up-to-date versions of android will allow the SB apps to be installed safely from Google Play?

The £5 Gift Card flood gates opened last night. The wife and I had ours arrive at 12:19 am. Did not have the phones on silent and they went mad. Mint as she is off shopping to M&S this afternoon.

Same thing as the Blackhead Killer, go through to the end and it will credit, no need to purchase anything but you will probably want to cancel the order from your email.
