I have this model, it's a good vaccum cleaner.. I find it a bit heavy to take upstairs though and also you need to be wearing shoes to press the lever thing to make it tilt.. apart from that it's fine and the emptying is really good.
  • If your local Argos has stock - go to your local comet instead.

They have a price match policy where by they match the price and then reduce it by 10% of the difference.
It must be a retailer whin a 10mile radius and be in stock.

Currently the instore price of this model is showing as £359.95.
Thus they will match £178.99 then less 10% of the difference which is £18, total to pay £160.99.:j

Anyone know where you can get one of these? I can't find one local to me (Staffordshire).
    Never say never...
  • Just picked up the one that I reserved yesterday in Linlithgow and omg am I mortified at the amount of dirt that has just been picked up off my living room rug! :o

I tried to get Comet to pricematch but they wouldn't as the assistant said he couldn't get through to speak to a real person at Argos to verify the price and wouldn't accept my reservation as proof.

I don't trust the price promises - tried it with currys once and the assistant said it didn't count. After insisting on it she disappeared for 10 minutes before coming back with a completely different reason she had found in the smallprint - they will always try their best to screw you!!!!!
