How to lose 30KG

You can replace white bread with multigrain bread that will help.
Also, having a cup of green tea everyday is also effective...
One effective weight loss tip is having a glass of honey mixed in luke warm water. Have this in empty stomach everyday.0 -
Do you work for the Green tea marketing board or something? You're suggesting this on multiple posts. You can replace white bread with multigrain bread that will help.

Green tea will not help you lose weight, it's tea for gods sake not a magical potion.
Glass of luke warm water and honey? Also useless, if anything it could make you gain weight as you're adding in extra calories from honey.0 -
I presume your GP knows your intention and has given it their blessing?
Buy a pair of digital scales & use them - weigh Everything, calculate the calories & record every bite, every sip. (Eyeopening!)
Then have a party & tell all your friends. So they know not to offer you that pint, or gingerbread latte, but a peppermint tea instead.
Do you know what you are avoiding by weighing 30 k less? I have the fortune to live with an insulin dependent diabetic - I get to look at his injecting gear & think that actually even one spoonful of nutella isn't that enticing after all. Look at a clothes shop, one where you particularly like the styles & designs & materials used. Have a look at their sizes. Plan to reward yourself with a new shirt, or something similar at 15 kg down - just one - it won't fit you as well when you've shed 30, but it'll still be a glorious reminder of the benefits of shedding those pounds.
Naturally exercise is good, but take it easy to start with. Start with getting your average daily steps up. Go for walks. You'll find that when you know you are free of a couple of stone, a walk seems much less difficult - you aren't dragging those two extra stone around & are more inclined to exercise.
Follow some temptation - give different sorts of exercise a go & see which appeals. One cousin gyms religiously - but in the local park, not any brightly-lit lycra-infested temple.
Best of luck!0 -
I lost about half that eating pasties. Yes. How? Because, no matter which way you cut the pie ....mmmm .... it still comes down to the simple fact that eating too many calories in a day means you will put weight on.
I used to have a hot pasty for lunch - and for tea just toast. After that I swapped the pasty some days with a bunch of bananas that I'd eat through the day.
But, irrespective of the fact I was "eating badly" I lost weight because the overall calories were fewer than I needed.
People might say "oooh but that's bad". Being fat is bad.... being fat is worse ... so any mechanism one can use to achieve weighing less is therefore better than the alternative.
Diets are not a time for food shaming people, or overwhelming them with complex nutritional data that is simply offputting for people who don't follow fads and have no understanding whatsoever of physiology, biology, nutrition.
Even now, a mere slip of a thing ...
I eat "cr4p", but I eat LESS cr4p ... so the weight stays off.
I mostly eat from sideplates, not plates.0 -
I would add .... that as you lose the weight you start to notice other/better food a bit ... and might therefore, naturally, choose "better choices" (or not often, in my case).
But that 'education' and understanding and desire only comes once you've started to see results.
Start with a lettuce leaf today ... and you'll give up within 30 minutes and be breaking into the biscuit barrel.
Instead, have ONE biscuit today .... and you can smile at the biscuit barrel in 4 hours' time when you pass it and think "ha ha, I DUMPED you and haven't been back".
Just do it one day at a time.....0
