Well I logged on to update spends but seems the receipts are peskily elsewhere!
I've updated 2 small spends £1.28 reduced cheese and 49p milk.
there is more spending £11.25 of which was on cat food. I bought the best value i could get for the brand 2 of them like.
I also bought 2 xmas presents £3 each instead of £10 each so i'm happy with that.
I've contributed £8!! to collections at work - there just seems to be alot at the moment - i don't think there'll be one for me for a very long time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: they're for: significant birthdays, engagements, weddings, babies, length of time at work and leavers - i just have the chance of a significant birthday which will be almost 10 years away :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
back to the shopping analysis - i am quite pleased with the spends - nothing too expensive and nothing i hadn't planned to buy so i am still managing the best i can. i've also continued to use freezer and cupboard contents - i know that is what they're there for but i really do want to see a significant change in the amount we have.
Whoops just remembered £1 spend which got me 2 items - 1 for a week of packed lunches and the other can go into making snacks for packed lunches too and there's enough for maybe 2-3 weeks worth.
i am trying to find the balance between buying something i know is a good price at this time only (coupons) and not unnecessarily filling the cupboards and freezer. the cupboard then overflows onto the work surfaces making me very grumpy indeed and the freezer becomes inaccessible - it is easier with less and this is what i'm aiming for.Food Shop March £85.55 Petrol March £45.78 Socialising March £60.65 on 5 adventures
