Need extra income.....

Managing debts quite well but only paying £100 a month will take 4 years to clear the almost £4800. How can I make an extra £300 a month to clear it sooner? Can't take on another job. Looking at surveys, matched betting etc?

Your expertise would be helpful.

I really wouldn't gamble anything except maybe 1 lottery ticket per week!

There are a few ways to make a few hundred pounds:

* Have you got any mobile phones to sell? Mazuma recycling (online) at good money - an aged smart phone can be worth £80
* Have you got any gold that you could sell? I recently sold a 9crt gold chain that I never use and isn't sentimental for £45 at The Money Shop. They paid that instantly in cash

Have you got a partner? Does your job offer overtime?

I know you don't want to take on another job , but have you thought about offering an ironing service? You could get ironing dropped off at your house, do it in 2 hours, get it picked up the next night and be paid £30 approx. Charge £30 for a full Ikea bag. You can make approx £150 a week.......just a thought

If you are making regular payments and managing the payment each month can I ask why you need the debt gone sooner??

It is more than possible to make a useful amount from matched betting. I do. BUT it takes time, thought and concentration. If you mess up you will be out of pocket, possibly big style. Have a look at the Matched Betting thread and take care.

Maybe spend a bit of time on the up your income board. There are some good ideas over there.

You can make around 1k in your first month with Matched Betting but that is because of all the sign up offers. You will only lose money if you make a mistake. £300 a month is possible after that but you need a largish bankroll to do so
