    Staying in as usual - I hate New Year and luckily friends all have other options so I am not letting anyone down.

    This will be the first year in ages that me and OH are staying in with DS, it will be lovely, we will cook and have a glass of wine! Saves the pennies too! :)

    We go to our local pub at 7oc and leave about 8.30 or so.

    Have great fun looking at the style and so on about 8oc,

    Then we are gone!

    Cannot do full venues anymore now, but each to their own!

    Going out to a Family party, 2016 has been vile and I want to celebrate it's departure!

    I think I will probably stay in and invite a couple of mates over for wine and nibbles. I didn't go out much this year but I did pay off a lot of debt. So it won't hurt to save more after splurging at Christmas. Some of you are saying it was a rough year for you, why is that?
    Achievements:
    9 Aug 2021: Achieved a perfect credit score on Experian (999/999 points - Excellent)
    Debt free date: 23 July 2021.
    Next goals: Save deposit as a first time buyer.
    Find ways to increase income
    Further reduce budget/ sell old stuff

    Goals for October 2018: Eliminate unneccessary spending

    Staying in as usual, last and only time I've been out for New Year's Eve was 1999. :o Always say one day I'll do London!!! Those that do that hanging out for bbc1 programme that gets shown where the fire works go off at midnight.

    Still it'll be the last night on the Xmas booze for a while as want to do alcohol free during January as one of my resolutions.

    Out for an early meal with my OH and his daughter then off to the cinema. Home for 11 ish to watch Jools Holland and open a bottle of champers!

    Staying in, catching up with things we have recorded over the last few weeks. Or play boardgames with the family. No plans to stay up. Sunday afternoon we are having a couple of families over to celebrate and start the new year together.

    its home for us two. I am housebound disabled and hubby isnt fond of late nights any more. Will be nice though as I cant think of any one I would rather spend time with and kitty needs cuddles as well :))
