Online shopping advice wanted

Options
When opting for click and collect which consumer rights apply?
Is it still considered an online purchase?
or
buying directly from the store?

I'm curious because although I may be paying online I would be collecting it from a branch
Also
Some stores offer click and collect and allow one to pay on collection

I'd appreciate some advice on this. I usually prefer to pay online because it seems I have different and maybe better rights than purchase in store.

Also I use TopCashBack and I fear they noyt pay up when item is paid for in store since it may not go through as an online transaction

  • Distance selling rules would apply. It doesn't matter how you get your hands on your stuff!

For example say the delivery person left a card because you weren't in and you picked the package up. That's no different from click and collect.

    Cheers fj
