I bought a wool duvet from local independent bed/bedding shop, it was made by these people

It was expensive, but bought in one of their twice yearly sales, I love it. It is king size and huge, I think getting it washed may prove a little difficult though. I sleep on my own and fortunately my dog does not like sleeping on the bed so it does not need cleaning as often as perhaps would in some circumstances (always throw it back for airing for a good portion of each day even though that does not look pretty like in all the home magazines:rotfl:)

I have feather/down pillows made in this country, I was told as a by product from geese raised for eating. Also quite expensive feather/down duvets from JL for our caravan, they are lovely, but if they need replacing I will have to do a lot of research, cannot bear the thought of those creatures being plucked like that.

We can't have feather or down due to husband's allergies. We have a Sainsbury's one, well we got it from Sainsbury's but I can't remember the brand. It's fine.
