Just done credit check and need some help

Hiya guys
Done a credit check and need some help on a few things. sorry if there easy answers but am not sure thats why am asking..
1) I had a mortgage which is now all paid off but on my credit file it shows over the period of time i had 2 payments in arrears. Does this still affect my credit rating as they were back in 2003.?
2) same above but with credit card i had 4 arrears back in 2002 / 2003 ?

If they still show on your credit file then 'yes', these may be taken into account for future credit checks ( I believe they are held on file for 6 years though don't quote me on that!)
If your unsure, visit Experian's website and contact them...they are very helpful.0
