Writing a great CV

Can anyone tell me if there is any service offered that will check your CV? I think mine is good but I'm not sure if it's too long, if it has all the relevant info on etc. Would like to find a way of getting it checked.

you can look online, you will get copy and paste responses in exchange for money though.
If you want a good CV then get this:

You can get a used copy for under £4 and learn how to write a CV now and in future. This book served me very well.0 -

I was cold called a few years ago about having my CV reviews. They must have been given my contact details by an agency. The initial review was free although there would be a charge for rewriting it if needed - what a surprise. They said that numerous changes were required - big surprise but I didn't take them up on their very kind offer.
I had worked for a major financial institution and as part of the redundancy package the CV was professionally produced, in several variants for different situations. These chancers wouldn't have produced anything useful, just a hole in my bank account.0
