  • How has DS been since Dad's baby was born? Is there any issues / jealousy, or is he being OK with it all and being OK with you.

He hasn't really mentioned it tbh, he is going to Dads tomorrow so we'll see how it goes when he comes back. I think he's quite excited about it still at the moment, I hope so, it would be nice if he takes an interest in her.

Morning all, I had a lovely weekend camping with friends in Somerset, really really nice :D

I have decided (yet again) that I think now is the time to sort out my weight. My head seems to be in a better place (it never works for me until my head clicks into gear). So, fitbit is charging, weight has been logged on My Fitness Pal (MFP from now on), and I have a big bottle of water filled ready for glugging on. I'm aiming for 1lb a week loss which should see me much happier by Christmas. Ds has started his running again, only a short one each evening, but it has encouraged me to dig out the trainers once again. For now it will just be upping my walking, I'll start the C25K plan again when I can feel things are improving. I'll also look out the kettlebell dvd again.

Today I need to sort out the end of month banking and get an up to date plan of what still needs to be done this week as I will be back at work this time next week :(:(

So today I have managed to do my 10,000 steps, drink 2 litres of water, stick to my calorie goal, in fact I came in 200 under but only cos the tesco order doesn't come until tomorrow and there was nothing I fancied in the cupboards :D Just got to repeat that each day until Christmas to be heading where I want to be ;)

Tonight ds and I took the dog for a long walk along the beach, it was gorgeous down there tonight. There were still loads of people and we walked along to the trendy bar by the pier and I went to get us a drink each, and the card machine was playing up so the guy told me to just have the drinks on them ;) One of those lovely gestures that makes your day :)

    Yep, £4 to go :D

I know what you mean about it being harder when it's the holidays, but I struggle when I'm at work too. It's too easy to nip to the canteen and they don't do anything remotely healthy in there :o I also struggle with the water, although today's heat made it okay. I have one of those water bottles too, I like to put mint in it mainly. This morning I filled a 2 litre bottle with water and have been glugging on that all day.

I go on the MFP boards for some motivation, they are amazing and loads of before and after pics too :)

Morning all, been for a walk around the block with the dog this morning, got a couple of thousand steps done, now chilling with a cup of tea in the conservatory. Once I've finished it we're off to get ds school jumper then back here for the tesco shopping coming between 10-11. After that I'm not sure of our plan, ds has his train club tonight but that's about it :)

I'm with you with the weight loss, weighed myself this morning and I'm the heaviest I've been in about 5 years. My biggest problem is that I changed jobs at the end of the summer term, so instead of getting a lot of walking done during the school day, I'm now office based. Luckily I can walk to work but it still isn't coming close to what I was doing before.

Half a stone would be good, but if I join you with a pound a week, then that's a stone gone! Should be achievable so long as temptation doesn't creep in.
