Leftover chicken and gravy

I want to use the leftover chicken from Xmas and have it with gravy.
All very simple you might think, but do I heat up the chicken in the microwave and just add gravy over the top? Or would it be better to make the gravy and put the cold chicken and hot gravy in a Pyrex dish and pop it in the oven? If the latter, how hot and for how long?

Hi,
spice up the gravy with curry or chilli, dice up the chicken and add to the gravy, heat in microwave, stir and taste.
Have it with cous cous or bulgar wheat.0 -

Was just going to have normal gravy as it's also for my children and they are a bit fussy.
So, I don't heat up the chicken first in the microwave, but put it in hot gravy and then microwave it?
Was just going to have rice with it.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

microwaving the chicken first might make it a little dry - I'd heat it in the gravy either in the oven or microwave just make sure the meat is hot through before you serve it. I'd guess at a couple of minutes in the microwave or 15 minutes in the oven.0

I do this all the time. Pour hot gravy over cold chicken, put in oven as gas mark 6 for 30 minutes.0
