By participating in this promotion (the “Promotion”), each entrant is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. The Promotion is being run and administered by Chelsea FC plc, Stamford Bridge, Fulham Road, London, SW6 1HS (the "Promoter").
1.2. The Promotion is open to residents from all countries, but excluding employees of the Promoter, its group companies, anyone professionally connected with the Promotion and any member of their respective immediate families. Anyone under the age of 16 at the date on which they enter the Promotion must have permission from a parent or guardian to enter.
1.3. The Promotion will open at 12am on 15th December 2016 and close at 11.59pm on 27th December 2016 (all times stated as UK) (the “Promotion Period”).
1.4. Entries received by the Promoter outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible to win a Prize (as defined at paragraph 4, below).
1.5. No purchase is required to participate in the Promotion, however entrants will need an Internet connection. No refund may be claimed for expenses incurred in participating in the Promotion, including in relation to the use of the Internet.
2. ENTRY TO THE PROMOTION
2.1. To enter the Promotion, entrants must:
(a) access the Promotion entry page;
(b) enter their name, email address and date of birth.
2.2. Entrants may only participate in the Promotion once. Duplicate entries will be void and only the first entry submitted will be eligible to win a Prize.
2.3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to:
(a) verify the eligibility of any participant (including their age and place of residence); and
(b) exclude anyone who the Promoter believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions from participating in the Promotion.
2.5. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any attempt to participate in the Promotion which is unsuccessful or incomplete for any reason, including as a consequence of communication or network failures.
3. THE WINNERS
3.1. At the end of the Promotion Period, the Promoter will select 1 participants entry at random as the “Winner”.
3.2. The Winner will be contacted by the Promoter on the 28th December 2016 (using the information submitted as part of their entry). In the event that the Winner cannot be contacted within 7 days or chooses not to redeem the Prize, a replacement Winner may be selected in accordance with paragraph 3.1.
4. THE PRIZES
4.1. The winner will receive the following prizes;
- Travel to Stamford Bridge including Economy flights if outside of the UK for the winner and their guest
- 5 nights stay in the Copthorne Hotel in Stamford Bridge from the 18 January 2017 - 22 January 2017 for the winner and their guest
- Hospitality tickets to the Hull City game on January 22 for the winner and their guest
- £1000 spending money in cash
- 30 minutes player access with a first team player on Thursday 19 January at our Cobham Training facility for the winner and their guest. Travel will be provided for the winner and their guest to and from the Copthorne hotel
- A goodie bag to be decided upon Chelsea FC. The value will be approx. £50.
4.3. The Prize may not be substituted or exchanged and there is no cash alternative. Where the Prize is subsequently not available for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may replace the Prize with a prize of similar or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter, the Prize will only be awarded to the Winner. Under no circumstances may any Prize be sold, for cash or otherwise.
4.4 You may require documentation, including a valid passport and/or a visa, in order to travel to the UK to redeem the prize. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all travel documentation and permits required, and the Promoter shall not liable for any loss suffered by you (including loss of the ability to make use of the Prize) which arises out of you not having necessary travel documentation or permits.
5. LIABILITY
5.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law the Promoter excludes liability for any losses, damages and claims incurred by any person in connection with the Promotion.
5.2. The Promotion is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter and each entrant acknowledges and agrees that neither Facebook nor Twitter shall have any liability in connection with the Promotion.
6. GENERAL
6.1. All decisions made by the Promoter in respect of the Promotion shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, any Prize and/or cancel the Promotion at any time as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
6.3. By entering the Promotion, you agree that any personal data provided by you in connection with this Promotion may be used by the Promoter to administer the Promotion. All personal data held and used by the Promoter will be held and used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy (a copy of which can be found at http://www.chelseafc.com/privacy-policy). If you have given your consent to receive information about goods and services which may be of interest to you, you agree that we (or selected third parties if you have given your consent for this) may contact you using the methods (one or more of post, telephone, SMS or email) that you have agreed to be contacted by.
6.4. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other provisions of these terms and conditions, and all provisions not affected by such invalidity or unenforceability shall remain in full force and effect.
6.5. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Each entrant agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.
