  • Just eat the fruit. It's better for you, slower release so you steel full for longer.

You need to cut out as much sugar as possible from your diet.

So cut out all low fat food, it's all loaded with sugar. Cut out all processed food, or anything marketed as 'healthy'! For example full fat yoghurt. It's fat content is only a bit above the low fat variety, but far less sugar. Also cut out fruit yoghurts. Just eat natural yoghurt. Ditto for these low fat spreads, just use butter.

Where's the prof this works, it's back in the 1950's and 60's when I was at school. There were no fat kids and we all used butter, full fat cheese and so o . There was no low fat option. It worked back then and it works now, good luck fj

Bigfreddiel. But in the 1950/60s children were more active and out playing. Now a days they are glued to computers or X boxes.

I got a nutri bullet as a present 6 months ago, and my first thought was that I would use it once or twice and then forget about it. It hasn't been the case, I love it and use it almost every day. The reason is because it is so easy. You don't have to cut small pieces, it only take a few seconds and more importantly, you just take the cup with you and drink our of it, so washing is minimal. The whole process takes under a minute so I do find it easy to do in the morning before leaving for work.

This is probably scientifically true, but I found out that he has the exact opposite effect on me!

True enough, just turn off the Xbox, take the smartphone away and send me outside.

Next thing you're going to say that it's far too dangerous out there.

No it's not, it's just the same as in the old days. A few cuts and grazes will do them good.

And you the pArent gets a bit of peace an quiet.

    Cheers fj

How odd! I think you should perhaps look ar the other parts of your diet, and maybe portion size.

    Good luck fj

My favourite "meal replacement drink" is soup. Everything in packets tastes chemically somehow.

Cook your own, lay about you with a stick blender & the sistema soup mugs are brilliant - portion control & convenience in one mug!

Extra protein could be whey powder but do consult your GP on what that might do to your kidneys & liver... Aim to eat *better* not higher X or Y?

Congratulations on the weight loss so far & all the best going forward!

Completely agree. I love my nutri bullet. Again, I thought it would be something I would use a few times and forget about.
I was wrong. I use it on a daily basis, great for adding veg/seeds/nuts/ protein powders etc as well, not just fruit, where some blenders just don't cope. Quick easy and comes with great recipe book for smoothie ideas :)
