Terms & Conditions

This campaign – “ASUS AURA Outshine the Competition” (“Campaign”) is hosted worldwide by ASUSTek Computer Inc (“ASUS”)..


1. Detailed information with respect to how to play and win prizes in connection with this specific Campaign, ASUS Terms of Use Notice[QC1] , and ASUS Privacy Policy[QC2] , constitutes part of this Campaign Event Terms and Conditions ("Conditions"). Participation in this Campaign is deemed acceptance of these Conditions. ASUS may at any time revise the Conditions and other rules set forth by ASUS. You (as defined below) shall be bound by any such revisions.

2. The Campaign commences on 9 December, 2016 at 12:00 aM (GMT+08:00) and ends on 30 December 2016 11:59 PM (GMT+08:00) ("Campaign Period").

3. Employees of ASUS and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising representatives and agencies who are directly involved in the Campaign, and the immediate families of any of the foregoing persons, are NOT ELIGIBLE for this Campaign.

4. No enter fee is required to enter the Campaign or to win the Prizes.

5. Enter Requirements:

A. Participation in the Campaign is available to residents globally. The Campaign is open globally to individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age and over and/or considered an adult by the laws of the country where you reside in (“Participants”).

B. Participants should have activated social media accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account to upload photo or video within hashtag #ASUSAura on https://www.asus.com/microsite/Aura/Campaign.html / (“Event site”)

C. The photo or video Participants upload should contain either ASUS Aura product you have purchased or image synthesis composed by ASUS Aura Sync logo and colorful lighting effects.

6. Winners:

A. The Top voted winners: Six (6) top voted winners will be selected from all applicable entries received (40% fan vote + 60% ASUS internal vote)

B. Lucky draw: Nine (9) winners will be picked by ASUS at random so this is an international lottery .

7. Prizes:

A. The Top voted winners: AURA PC, AURA Motherboard, AURA Graphic Cards, AURA peripherals.[JL3]

B. Lucky draw: AURA peripherals[JL4]

C. There is no cash alternative on the Prizes.

D. The Prizes are non-transferable and subject to availability, ASUS retains the right to substitute any prize with another prize of an equal or greater value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond ASUS reasonable control.

8. Each Participant is only eligible for a single prize.

9. Winners will be announced three (3) weeks after the end of the Campaign Period (“Announcement”) on Republic of Gamers Facebook fan page (https://www.facebook.com/ASUSROG).

10. Winners shall provide ASUS their contact information within two (2) weeks[JL5] after ASUS’ notification. Any failure of the Winner to make such complete and accurate contact information available to ASUS will be deemed a waiver of the right for the prize awarded, and ASUS, in its sole discretion, has the right to conduct a redraw to decide a substitute.

11. ASUS reserves the right to take all reasonable action to protect against fraud or other illegal conduct, including, without limitation, verifying proof of purchase, age and identity. Any cheating or hacking behavior will be deemed a waiver of the right for the prize awarded.

12. When you uploaded, transmitted, inputted or provided any information on the Campaign, you grant ASUS, its affiliates and subsidiaries, a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-revocable, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable right to promote and distribute part or all of the information in any media formats with any manner, including without limitation to modify, reproduce, public broadcast, public transmission, adapt, distribute, publish, public release, or otherwise use the information. ASUS will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such usage.



13. All social media channels mentioned in ASUS collaterals, website and any other medium in relation to the Campaign are not official sponsors, partner or affiliates with ASUS. By entering, Participants agree to the terms of use across all social media channels used as part of their posted content.

14. ASUS shall not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by the participants, internet user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Campaign, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the Campaign including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or Game, software failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries and any injury or damage to your computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the Campaign.
