Kitchenware recommendations

I figure this is a good place to ask :)

Can I have recommendations on:

Baking trays - cheap ones warp, light coloured ceramic seem to stain/don't stay non-stick

Kitchen towels for drying up - can never get a full "dry" out of one towel, we use the checked terry sort currently

TIA

I buy commercial grade cotton tea towels from eBay and they are fab, wash really well too - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-CATERING-TEA-TOWELS-KITCHEN-RESTAURANT-KITCHEN-CLOTHS-100-COTTON-GLASS-CLOTH-/182167141995?hash=item2a6a01fe6b:g:VDcAAOSwWTRW2AzS. (hope it's okay to post link, they are not associated with me)

For baking sheets, we have Le Creuset - not cheap, but excellent quality
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I second Islandmaid's recommendation of Le Creuset, it is indestructible. It is one of the brands recommended on the buymeonce.com website. They recommend stuff that lasts a lifetime.

Re tea towels I can't help you, I buy them at our local jumble sale for 10p and have had a mixed bag, so to speak. Some good quality linen, will last forever, and some flimsy ones that become cleaning rags within a year, but at 10p I am not complaining!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

For reasonably priced bakeware then I'd really recommend the 'Cook's' range by Sainsbury's. It's really solid and hardwearing and is often on offer. Obviously premium brands like Le Creuset and Mermaid are great if you want to invest in something that's going to last for years, but the Sainsbury's stuff is really excellent at a lower price-point.

Just been to Sainsburys and their 'Cooks' range baking trays are in the sale.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

I have found that I spend well on tea towels and like the original white ones with the blue stripe down , anything I can give a darned good boil too.I have tea towels that I have had for over ten years Argos do them for 10 for 8.99. at 89p each I think they are well worth the money
