New focus group people needed

Options
i belong to indiefield and just got this email from them. Unfortuantely i dont fit the criteria but thought id post it here incase any1 does:
Dear Sara,

I am sorry to bother you again about this project, but we are now in the final recruiting stages and our client has redefined some of the quotas that are
difficult to fill.

We can now tell you that our client is the BBC and we are setting up a review panel that will last for a year and will involve various types of research into current and upcoming TV events, The research will be anything from online questionnaires through to focus groups. Each time you take part you will be rewarded.

Regarding children aged 12 to 18, the rules are now relaxed to allow a child and a parent from the same household to take part, so if you have a child in
that age grou p,maybe the two of you can do it. You might be even registered already, but you can now register your child as well by doing the screener.

Most of the quotas are full but see if you fit into one of the categories below and if you do we might still have room for you.

People who have Terrestrial only TV (the 5 basic channels), Freeview and Cable TV (Satellite TV is full)

Children aged 12 to 14
Women aged 55 to 64
Men aged 15 to 24
Men aged 35 to 64

Even if you don't fit the quota, maybe you might know somebody who does. If so, please forward this email on to them.

For every person under 18 who is signed up through you, we will send you a £5.00 referral fee.

Please be assured that all under 18s will be accompanied by a chaperone at any discussion group and no child will be accepted for the project without written
parental consent.

Also, remember that how far you live from the city centres might be important because we will expect you to be able to get to group discussions being held
there.

If you are interested just follow the link below to our online screener.

The screener is a bit lengthy but your answers to the screening questions will decide which quota you fall into and if there are spaces still available for your quota we will get in touch with you. Bear in mind that if your quota is full you will be screened out at this stage.

There are quotas by gender, age and city, type of Internet connection, etc.

The link to the survey is www.indiefield.biz/8224/

The cities for this survey are:

Birmingham,
London, (already full)
Manchester.

I hope you are interested and that you do fit one of our quotas. I am sure that everyone who takes part will really enjoy it. It's not every day you have a
chance to be heard in this world and who knows, in the months ahead you may find yourself telling your friends "I was involved in that!"

As you know we are a professional recruitment and interviewing service - we abide by the rules and Code of Conduct of the Market Research Society. We assure
you that this research is done in order to find out about people like yourself - it is in no way connected with selling and your name is not passed on to anyone else, such as a supplier or manufacturer.

All my best,

Noel Lyons

Its not the BBC its a research company, They are a legitimate company. Was a bit concerned about the .biz address but it is registered to the same company as the .net address

Indiefield is a genuine company and its offices are close to where I work. I'm registered with them myself, no problems encountered.

At the moment it seems you have to worry more about the Beeb being a legit company...

Let's hope they don't try to fix the research by putting their production people on the panel - after all, folk who would change the name of the Blue Peter cat must be capable of absolutely ANYTHING!!!!! :D:D:D
