tkmax

Hi all

just wanted to make sure everyone is haggling down prices as my parner and I were looking for some good quality kitchen knives as my partner kate is a very keen cook.We we wandering round our local tkmax and spotted some stellar sabateur knives complete with stainless steel knife block priced at £49.00,the box was a bit ragged from people opening it up to have a look at the knives but apart from that all the knives were in A1 condition.but i did notice a small scratch on the knife block,we decided that the scratch was fairly minor and decided to to purchase the set regardless.as i was standing in line at the till I decided I was going to use the scratch to my advantage and when it was my turn at the till I asked the young girl if there was any chance of some discount as the product was slightly scratched.so she said ile just call the manager and ask,2 mins later the manager had a look and offered my £10 discount which made the set £39.00 a bargain i thought and went away very pleased with my purchase.

Got home and thought id have a look on the internet to see what these knives usually sell for and was shocked as they usually retail @ £89.99 + delivery.:j

so haggle even if you think your getting a good deal.it pays

I had a girls Dior top reduced to £10 a few days ago, as it had a mark on the back. I brought it as it was a good warm long sleeved top for the price. Looked online and they sell for £30 odd pounds :)
