Its the same with airport/motorway/hospital shops. I think the reason they give is higher rents although personally I'd expect those costs to be averaged across the group. I find the higher costs at hospitals particularly offensive as no one wants to be there as a captive audience.
Higher rents , higher costs associated with longer opening hours , different delivery and security costs ( particularly at "airside" stores )0 -
