in Gone off!
Each year, each supermarket runs out of one product.
Sainsburys - mincemeat. Remember a couple of years ago, they had loads and selling them off for 10p a jar in the NY.
My parents went to Asda and noticed no Stilton, unless in those cheese selection packs. They have loads of other cheeses. Same with Waitrose.
My parents remember Asda had no Brussels, no crackers or no cream in the past - though on different years.

My wife went to collect our M&S xmas Food to Order last night and said it was chaos. Half our order missing. Got given substitutes for a couple of things but had nothing to replace the big Pork Pie we ordered - not 1 pork pie left in store either. Seems its a simialr situation in quite a few other M&S stores looking at Twitter/Facebook. Some people not getting the Turkeys they've ordered or getting ones that are out of date before Christmas day even.
She's off to collect our Morrisons Xmas order today. Cant wait to find out how that goes ..0 -
All of the things listed above as "gone", I'd not even notice as they weren't on my list - except the Brussels.
I've got my Xmas dinner, but anything else is just surplus choices really. So long as I had a bit of turkey and some brussels that spells "Xmas" to me.
I'm easy to please0 -

My friend that works for Sainsburys have two full rollers of the pork pies they sell at the deli - they bag them up and put them in the chiller among the other PPs, so customers don't have to queue at the deli if just need a PP. Then 2/3 of a roller of the mini ones. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
