Paying off loan using balance transfer card?

  • Thanks Nebulous. I can pay a large portion maybe 50% cash today and transfer the rest to the cheaper finance option. Can I ask how do I create a new thread? I tried for ages and couldn't find the option to do it

Also how does a money transfer differ to a balance transfer? I thought they were the same thing? As the amount owed is a balance?
  • Money transfer puts the cash in your current account. Balance transfer pays off a card directly.
