Is it genuine? Elemis Moisturiser?

I ordered a 50ml jar of pro collagen marine cream online . It arrived this afternoon and I am unhappy as it is not cellophane wrapped. It normally costs £80 but several places sell it online for less. I paid £56 for it so still a lot of money. It is a gift for my Daughter. She only uses Elemis skin products and has given me gifts in the past. Always been cellophane wrapped box. I spoke to Customer Services at Elemis and they say that their products are cellophane wrapped. Said feel free to return it if you are unhappy They asked who the company was and said yes they are a supplier of our products. Said she would not make any comment
I spoke to the company and they say they buy in bulk and that sometimes they are not cellophane wrapped. I said I was unhappy and would like to return it There is nothing about return information on it but there is on the web site.
What would you do ? Thanks Sue

You've been told that they are an authorised seller, the seller has stated their batches are not always sellophane wrapped.
Ask for their returns procedure, but be aware that you may have to pay as the goods are not faulty. There is no requirement for something to be cellophane wrapped.0 -
Can return it using Collect or post and claim.postage back There is a collect place near where I live Thanks anyway

I use it and never had it cellophane wrapped. I have bought from a Elemis counter and QVC. Now I just started using Liz Earle Superskin and it was cellophane wrapped.0

I made a decision to return the moisturiser based on the fact that I was unhappy it was not cellophane wrapped
I spoke to Perfume direct who were happy enough to provide a refund based on the fact I was unhappy with how the product was provided
I returned it using Collect If this had been for myself I probably would have kept it but it was for my Daughter and I was not happy to give it to her as a gift without cellophane wrapper.
I would however buy other products from them based on reviews on their web site Perfumes seem to be at a very favourable price
The company were very understanding with my situation and said there was no problem with returning it. Sue0
