Great Pulteney Street has long been one of Bath's most iconic streets and there's no thoroughfare in the city which gives today's visitors such a clear picture of Bath's Georgian heyday. Once home to Hannah More, William Wilberforce, Admiral Howe and both Louis XVIII and Napoleon III in exile, the street is lined with Georgian townhouses at their grandest, including the Grade I facade of No.15 (and neighbouring No.13). These fine houses are now being transformed by seasoned local hoteliers Ian and Christa Taylor into an exciting new boutique townhouse hotel.
