Did I imagine it or did most banks provide free legals for remortgaging last year? Everyone (Leeds, Progressive, Accord, HSBC, Santander, NW) are showing no free legals on the MSE search assuming it's accurate.

I've already found one inaccurate part of it Today though so maybe it's not true?

Sometimes they may offer cashback instead.

On a side note, do not trust anything other than the lenders website.
I have a sourcing system that I pay for, I always have to double check the lenders website as it is not unheard of that there are mistakes.

Mortgage Brain at the minute (I always preferred trigold), but I am going directly authorised in January and will be using twenty7tec. I guess you always prefer the one you first used?

I used to use MB. Switched to a Trigold and find in dead easy.

Mind you I don't use all the bells and whistles and I don't let it do my thinking for me.

It tells me the rates and generates my source list and KFI.

    That's it.
