    This is hardly surprising or new.

    Watchdog had reports about this years and years ago, Martin himself was interviewed by Anne Robinson talking about PL numbers...

    Clearly bored at the office for a whole new "investigation" to be undertaken....

    Looks to me that someone at MSE Towers finally picked up the Which? magazine who did this story months ago.

    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    Studies on the placebo effect apparently show that patients taking placebos in branded packaging feel better than those given identical placebos in generic packaging.

    So people buying branded versions probably really do feel better as a result than they would have with generic versions. ;)

    Even the cheap prices there look a bit expensive to me. Unbranded ibuprofen or paracetamol tablets for under 2 pence each, e.g. 84 or 96 for £1.50.
