Foundation for pink undertones?

I'm in desperate need of a new foundation and I'm hoping someone on here will be able to recommend something suitable.
I've got pale, freckly skin with strong pink undertones, and I'm really struggling to find a decent colourmatch. Why is everything so yellow??
My skin is also pretty oily so I need something that won't slide off after a few hours.

I've been using Loreal infallible matt foundation in the palest shade for a few months which is an ok colour match but doesn't give a very full coverage and wears off after a few hours, so I decided to try something new and bought Maybelline superstay foundation in True Ivory, which sounds like it would be incredibly pale doesn't it? Wrong! I look like I've been tangoed!

I'm at my wits end - I've looked at a lot of foundations, read a lot of reviews and I can't find anything that is both a good colour match and has decent staying power for oily skin. I'm happy to pay more and go for a premium brand if anyone has any ideas!

I use Estee Lauder for years till recently tried the Boots no 7 colour match. They hold a gadget to your face and read off what it says. There a loads of different colours and they have blusher lipsticks etc to match. Price is about £9.50

I'm pale with cool undertones (pink rather than yellow) and I like using Doublewear by Estee Lauder in 1C1 Cool Bone, it's the lightest shade for people with cool undertones. If you go to your nearest Estee Lauder counter in Boots they will colour match you and give you a 5ml sample of the foundation to try, so you can try it at home and see if it is a good match. It's also good for people with oily skin as the foundation is designed to be long wearing and not slide off the face!

To be honest I find that higher end foundations are best for a large shade range. Make Up Forever also make their foundations with yellow and pink undertones but sadly there is no counter near me to find which shade I need. MAC too also have foundation and concealer in warm or cool undertones.

Hope you find a good match soon, good luck!

Warm shades (warm undertone) are often labeled beige, golden, tan, caramel, and chestnut.

Cool shades (Cool undertone) are often labeled porcelain, rose, sable, cocoa.

Neutral shades are often labeled ivory, buff, nude, and praline.

I was considering getting colour matched at the no.7 counter but I'm dubious that they will have anything pale enough for me. I've read a lot of reviews of it and a quite a few have said that the palest shade is still too dark and orange for a lot of people.

I've tried their colour matching service and the sales assistant had to admit that they didn't have a foundation pale enough for me! If you are very fair like me, you will probably find that their palest isn't pale enough!

Is the Dainty Doll range still available? They were fronted by Nicola from Girls Aloud for women with very pale skin.

MAC also do I think very pale shades?

I've long heard rumours about the foundation range created by 'the ginger one from Girls Aloud' but thought it was just a myth!
I've just googled it and sadly it appears to have been discontinued :(

I was considering MAC because the colour range seems so good, but I've heard that it's not so good for oily skin?
I will try and get a sample of Estee Lauder though, to be honest it's not a make up range I've ever really considered but will give it a go.

I was colour matched at the No 7 counter in boots, but the colour match foundations were all too dark when the consultant applied them.

She found that No 7 Stay Perfect foundation in Calico was the best match for me. I apply it with a brush and it does stay on really well.

Have you looked at Charlotte Tilbury Magic foundation No.1 Fair?
