Not sure where to post this....
I'm receiving calls daily from a mob called capquest. The calls are coming to my business mobile and started 2/3 years ago. I have informed them the individual they are looking for is not known to our organisation or at the tel number they have on record (they ask for him by first name).
The calls stopped for while after I asked them not to call back but guess what, they have started with a vengeance.
To be clear, the debt is nothing to do with me. How do I stop them?
(I block incoming numbers but they appear to come from other switchboards with different numbers pointing back to capquest).
TIA

Hi,
As they are only phone calls, you can safely ignore them, but they do have a habit of changing number, if you block them.
Send this letter to them :
https://www.nationaldebtline.org/EW/sampleletters/Pages/Complaining-to-debt-collection-agencies-that-you-do-not-owe-the-debt-%28sole-name%29.aspx
Adapt it to your situation, reference it as the first name they keep asking for when calling, it would mean giving out your address but may be a necessary evil if you want to stop the calls.
Mark the letter "COMPLAINT" and address the letter to there compliance officer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
