McDonalds - offer different prices depending on how you order

In many McDonalds outlets in the UK they have introduced self serve systems that look like touch screen billboards.

Like many I started using the system for my usual order. Two apple pies for my wife and I. One day there was self serve system was not working and we had to order as we had done in the old days.

I noticed the price was significantly lower! It turns out that the self serve systems don't automatically apply offers e.g. reduced prices for two apple pies.

So if you are ordering food at McDonalds always order at the counter to make sure you get the best deal!:j
