Wrapping an I O U

Options
We are buying a member of the family an XBox game. However as we do not know which to buy, we want to give an IOU. Looking for imaginative ways to wrap and IOU for this

Thanks

Why not just get them a gift voucher for game or something?

If you want to be really mean, one of those puzzle boxes where they have to solve the puzzle to get the iou out.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Big box all wrapped up, inside is a box containing a helium balloon, at the end of the string is an envelope attached with the IOU attached. If you don't have helium or big boxes you could inflate a balloon with the IOU note inside and write "POP ME [insert giftee's name]".

I wouldn't recommend that. I got one once to put some money in for my son. I had expected to just pop the money in but no it arrived closed so to open the hatch I had to solve it myself . I gave up as I didn't have the time or inclination to solve it, it seemed quite difficult :o

Depending on your budget I would make sure you look at the various new games out and decide if you need to place a limit on your IOU rather than just any game, some of them are very expensive.

Definitely a gift voucher rather than an IOU because it means you've already paid the money for a present. An IOU means they'll have to come and ask you to get it.

Yeah as others have said a nice gift voucher, or if not a really nice card with a message in...

or head to thortons and i think you can get chocolate with writing on it, so you could put the IOU on that, get them to write it on for you.
