Sandwich Toaster Problem

The anti stick paint in my sandwich toaster has gone so now when I toast a sandwich it sticks in the toaster and makes a mess when I remove it


How do I solve the problem

No I have not tried oiling it


What type of oil should I use /

Just normal cooking oil, whatever you have. I use veg oil (even with the anti-stick coating). I'd go for something that doesn't taste of much, unless you want the sandwich to taste of it.

I would also clean the rest of the "anti stick paint" off.
