changed from employment to contractors, advice needed asap please

Hi, Please can someone give me advice on this problem I have. Sorry this is long.I have worked for my company for 6 years. The beginning of 2016 we had a new manager and she as come in and made many changes. She as cut peoples hours down to a bare minimum and so more than half the staff have left because they can not survive on the pay they are now on,she has not replaced the staff that have left and so the staff we do have is stretched to full. She came to me in October and told me she was changing me to a contractor. I do not mind this as she informed me that nothing would change for me,so I agreed that would be fine. I had one meeting with her alone and no one else present from the contract company or our area manager, which I thought was strange. Within 4 weeks the contractor had taken over. I have not received a starter pack from the contractors but was told they had all my details from the company when the switch was made. My first pay was put in 2 days late and only half of my wages were there so I telephoned them and they said emergency tax had been taken. I telephoned the tax office and they asked me to give them the PAYE number and my new payroll number. I have not received a pay slip and told them I do not have it. I telephoned the contractor and asked for these numbers. He would not give it to me. I have phoned both directors of the company and to ask them for a payslip and the PAYE number and they will no longer answer their phones to me. I telephoned the tax office again and they said he is breaking the law because he has not sent me my pay slip so they phoned him on my behalf. He told them he would send it to me later on that day as he was not in his office. He didnt. I phoned the tax office again and they said to search on line for his company address and they could search for him on their system and get the PAYE number from that. I found it and phoned back in with the information, they said he is not on the inland revenue system and that they are quite concerned that they can not find him,his lack of communication with me and also him not sending my pay slip. They asked me to go and search for anything else ie previous company addresses or other companies he may of run and to put it in writing with a cover letter so they can investigate further. I have looked and I was shocked to find this guy has had 6 businesses since 1998 and 5 have been dissolved. The current company he runs as only been up and running since february this year and the company name was changed to LTD.I phoned the manager at my work place and told her to help resolve the situation and ask him for the PAYE number and my payslip, she said she would. She messaged me later in the day and said he would send it to me later that day,He didnt. I was trying desperately to telephone my previous manager yesterday to tell her about what the tax office had said and how concerned they are about him not being on their system, the person who answered the phone said she was out and that they would ask her to call me as soon as she came back,I have found out she was there standing next to the phone when that person answered. so I sent her 2 text messages telling her to phone me as it was urgent regarding this contractor, she too is now avoiding my calls and text messages. I went to work last night and had a chat with the assistant manager and she left her a voicemail saying to ring me or come and see me (she lives on site) and that she urges her to do so because it is very important, she has not contacted me. My situation is critical as due to no fault of my own I do not have my full wages,I can not claim my tax back as I do not have the relevant information I need to do so. I am the only breadwinner in my home as my partner is in very ill health and so I do more than one job to survive. My mortgage is due out in 2 weeks time and I do not have enough money in my bank to cover it. I am so anxious and for the first time in my life it looks like I am going to be in arrears with my mortgage and also incur charges for doing so. Please can someone give me some advice on what to do and are the contract company breaking the law in not giving me these things? Many thanks for reading

Was the transfer to the new company a TUPE transfer?

    What have you signed?
    What does it say?

What does your final wage slip from your old company say? IE did they pay outstanding holiday pay making it clear it was a final payslip.

    Did you get a P45?

What new contract have you signed, if any?

Finally, edit you post and put some paragraphs in. More people will read it.

Already done, post #2 from Dom. What is does need is to be made a lot shorter, I haven't bothered to read either version as there is simply too much text.

As previous questions, the opening post makes no sense.
What does "changing to a contractor" mean?
Does it mean you have changed your employment so that you work on a limited company basis and you are paid via an umbrella company and your previous "employer" is now your "client site"?
Did you check for yourself that you would not be financially disadvantaged by this change?
Why did the company you work for make this change..?
How was this change explained to you when you asked?
What does it say in your previous employment contract about these types of changes?
I doubt they were just allowed to do this so you must have signed something which meant that you agreed for the change to take place..
Maybe talk to CAB about this and show them the old and new contracts you have.
