E: 19/10 Win Grindhouse Trailer Classics

Ahh, those gory glory day’s of the 'Grindhouse' film. Dragged back into the public consciousness courtesy of those fully paid up members of the Grindhouse fan club, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez with their recent nods to the genre, ‘Death Proof’ and ‘Planet Terror’, these were the types of films that eschewed quality production in favour of a cheap and lurid approach, made to appeal to peoples, shall we say more base instincts!

This brand of exploitation cinema took great pleasure in stomping all over the face of Hollywood's cinematic taboos in an outrageous orgy of wanton sex, gratuitous violence, dangerous drug abuse and devastating destruction, all played out by a parade of perverts, freaks, monsters, killers, voluptuous vixens and charismatic gun-toting heroes.

Here’s your chance to indulge in a smorgasbord of cinematic sex, gore and violence. We’re giving three copies of ‘Grindhouse Trailer Classics’ a crazed two hour compilation of theatrical promos compiled by genre expert Marc Morris of the most eye-popping examples of that sleazy cinematic sub-genre that has come to be known as 'Grindhouse'.

The ‘Grindhouse Trailer Classics’ is a DVD first in the UK and retails at £14.99. It's available to buy from 24 September 2007.
