Carney - Another day, another change of tact

Was listening to something yesterday regarding Mark Carney, his huge pay packet and benefits, and whether actually, he's even noticeable outside of his statements. Was part of the brexit stuff as apparently he's claiming that the economy is doing OK after Brexit because of their intervention. Scuse me?!
Tried to find a reference to it this morning, but came across an article from the Spectator instead from October, which I'm sure I'd have lapped up if I wasn't as busy at the time.
So my question is, is anyone satisfied with him? I guess there will be some as nothing has changed. Food for thought though in the article below. A kind of re-cap of all the glorified statements which turn to dust a few days later.

Mr Carney is almost an inverted Cassandra. Cassandra was never believed but always right. Mr Carney is still taken seriously by some but is reliably wrong.

I'm sure that he works very hard for his ridiculous salary. If you want the very best talent then you have to pay for it.
BUT if Comical Carney is the very best of the best then what does this say about bankers in general?"When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -
Mr Carney is poorer than average at predicting the future of things, and is too political for his office (he's struggling now he doesn't get daily calls from George telling him how to think/act)..... in all, an unsuitable head of the BofE0

Nothing either tactful or tactless about it - bit of a change of direction though.;)0 -
Easy to criticise others from a distance. What's there to complain about. The fact that the economy hasn't crash landed must be in part to the efforts of the BOE as a whole. Carney only after all is only the figure head nothing more.0
