I've been entering tens of competitions daily for around a month and have won nothing. I'm starting to wonder whether sites automatically disallow competition entries from users of this site. I've got a lot more email spam and !!!!!! adverts, and sms spam and phone calls since I started though!

Tens! You need to do at least 100 a day. You also need to make sure you always untick anything that asks to contact you.
    Thank you all who post.

Don't give up, don't be negative, don't be complacent, don't believe the articles that say you can make £50k a year from comping. Do it to kill time and have no expectations then you can't be disappointed.

If your current methods aren't working try mixing it up a bit - switch from entering as you go to end date or vice versa, change your profile pic on twitter or facebook, search for local comps on google, try comps you wouldn't normally bother with like instagram or effort.

Enter and forget about them but in the grand scheme of things 10 a day is not very many at all in comparison to the majority. As for all the spam - newsletters are a given but you should still be checking the tick boxes and most of the comps on here are reputable so I'd make sure you are avoiding known spammy sites elsewhere too
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I'm in a similar position but nowadays I try to enter comps and then forget about them, it helps with disappointment :P As above, better to do it as a hobby :)

second successive bad year for me - now just 1 win in 30 months (3 if you include a 10p and a 50p on Topcashback treats)
Certainly seems much more difficult to win anything recently - used to get half a dozen small wins a year until 2014.
When I started comping I read a couple of people on here suggesting typically 1 win for every 4000 entries. I've never managed that but i reckon I do around 1600-1700 entries a month, so I'm at 1 (or 3) in about 50000 over last 30 months.
You can only do it for a hobby but there are times - such as during the Advents madness - that I feel like there must be something else!!
    2025 : over 3 years without a win. Then 4 in a couple of months - 3 books and a small That’s Life prize 🎉🎉🎉

I had a grad total of win in 2016. It is hugely disheartening, especially when you see the posts on here that are like 'Only 3 wins this week' and you just want to growl!
