Thanks for not letting me consilidate

:T Dear all,

A thank you for a all your advice, i was about to consilidate and get a loan to have one payment a month. With all your advice i'm going to try and snowball the credit cards, then pay extra off my loan.

My cards are on 0% so it does make sense why pay the bank more and increase the debt with a loan. I feel like a big weight has already been lifted a loan for £17000:eek: was quite scary if i can get the credit cards on 0% and really hammer them i 'll be so happy.

I' quite excited now. Things i'm doing today.

MBNA card 0% runs out soon change it to my Barclaycard 0% for another 8 months and increase payment each month.
Start a diary of spends thats my biggest downfall the old switch card.
Start using cash.

and last but not least keep reading on here, your all an inspiration.:A

Thanks Gabbie

Well done I wish I had been where you are a few years ago but I probably would not have listened to the advice then, so all credit to you!

Well done you. Don't forget to ebay/amazon anything not nailed down to free up more chucking cash, take a pek at Old Style board to get more out of your grocery money, and have a cup of tea, and a well deserved biccy. You've made a big life change, and you should be really proud of yourself.
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Woohooo!! Well done! You must be like the majority of us on here and totally out of control when it comes down to money, I know that I for one can not trust myself with it anymore!

Trust me, you will be quoting me very soon when I say - money saving is very very addictive! Soon you will be in Tesco's tutting at the price of a loaf of bread and walking half a mile up the road to get it 2p cheaper :rotfl:

Good luck, keep your other post going with your SOA in it and use it as a diary to remind yourself of what you're doing and where you want to be. We can all then watch your progress and hopefully you'll inspire a few others to have their LBM's too :D

    Welcome Gabbie,

Lovely to see you got the principle of the low/no interest and the snowballing - together, they can be really powerful. Keep posting!
