Steam Controller Skin - CSGO Blue Camo

I bought Steam products (http://store.steampowered.com) in the Black Friday sale, which have now arrived. I bought this skin as it was also in the sale: http://store.steampowered.com/app/531310/

Does anyone use the skins for:

1) Buttons - The skins cover the labels (meaning of the buttons)
2) Joystick - The skin is awkward to attach and does not look right.
3) Micro USB - I cannot use the Micro USB port with the skin
4) Back - I bought the following accessory as well: http://store.steampowered.com/app/530970/. It means I cannot but the skin on the back as there is a compartment for the USB i.e. it is not flat.

I bought the skin because I believed they protected the controller, however I am not sure they will now I have received them and seen them. Does anyone use the four skins above? Are they fit for purpose?
